Nights Within Zombies Nights Within Zombies

Rated 1.5 / 5 stars

i think this is really obvious but the gun doesnt even point to the crosshair. thats one of the most important things in a shooter in order to aim properly. there were no bullet pictures and the sound glitched out when the care package landed on me. the legless zombies even float. id like to believe that you can recognize these are problems that need to be fixed. it didnt even seem like the other guns worked too. i understand submitting a game that has a lot of bugs you didnt know were there but this game is riddled with extremely obvious bugs and some break the game. if you plan to submit a game that is very clearly broken, your overall reception wont be very good. this isnt good for you and its not fun for the player either. your game doesnt have to be that good but try to make it playable

IndieMindsStudio responds:

We clearly, said that the game is bugged, announced It as a prototype, (ONLY), Which makes sense after all, I didn't expect positive comments at all, nor positive rates, and so on.
The full version is underway.

having tiny maps to transition constantly instead of 1 long level is pretty annoying. the transitions arent that bad but doing them constantly is. it feels like i have to stop playing for 1 second for every 2 seconds of gameplay

I tried scrolling once on a Bonk engine I was making, it did not turn out well. Think of it like this: You are running towards a wall. When you run into the wall, you get teleported on top of the wall. If the wall goes all the way to the top of the screen and you run into it, the game lllaaagggsss sssuuupppeeerrr ssslllooowww... That's why I chose this Megaman-styled scrolling system.

Okay, I will take a look. Were you clicking really quickly when it happened? Also, were you using your phone or PC, Mac, etc?

you need to give instructions on how to play. even when you figure it out, all you do is walk forward. its not much of a game to be honest but keep trying

you really should have instructions at the start of your game rather than the description

dont put levels where the player has to be impossibly precise to complete it. after beating the first stage, the fan is just incredibly annoying. ive made the jump across a couple times but its extremely hard to do and feels very tedious to try and fail so often, especially since some of the retries are due to an enemy being there that kills me but its impossible for me to know that so i can time the jumps. i thought the skull part was very annoying and tedious too

Mazeman712 responds:

Thanks for the feedback. I wanted this game to be more challenging than the first one. It's kind of like the 'extra hard mode'. But the first game was pretty easy if you want to take a look at that and get more used to the controls, etc.

i faced what looked like a door and i didnt get any options to move anymore. it makes the game literally unplayable. besides that, there arent really any animations, sound, music and theres barely any art. the gameplay also consists of click the attack button which is.... meh.
